Influenster - ImPress Manicure Voxbox

Hellooo there!

I have recently been chosen for the Influenster - ImPress Manicure Voxbox Canada and thought that I would do a review on it. Now, this is the first time that I have ever, Ever bought press on nails. So, to begin I had received two press on nails in D030 Holla! and 130 Control Freak. Between the two I actually prefer Holla! as I am not really into hot pink nails.

Though this is my first time trying this I was quite impressed as how easy it was to apply. Find nails that will fit on your fingers, peel off the sticker on the back and press on. It's as easy as that! As well removing the nails are quite easy too. Another thing I liked about this is that they come in a variety of colours as well as designs that are suitable for your taste and that they come with 24 nail covers in different sizes! As for how long it will last, it will depend for everyone. If you don't really do much then it will probably last a little over a week. Though besides the pros of the ImPress nails, I would probably not purchase press on nails as I didn't really like the feel of it on my nails (probably because this was my first time). Guess I should stick to painting my nails instead.

As for any cons of the product, the only downside for me was that even though the nails were availiable in different sizes they all didn't quite fit my nails properly.  :(

Thanks for reading! Catch you in my next post!

*Disclaimer: I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

[Review] YSL - Le Teint Touche Eclat

Hello! I wanted to post a little review on my new favourite foundation that I have been loving for the past two months. From the title it's the Yves Saint Laurent - Le Teint Touche Eclat foundation. I am an NC20-25 in M.A.C. foundations so I picked up the shade BD40 from Sephora.

First off, I absolutely love the packaging! The gold packaging makes it look very high-end and sleek. Like other foundations it contains 1 fl.oz (30ml). What I also love about this foundation is that it comes with a pump which is very hygienic. According to the box this foundation is an "illuminating foundation, dimensional radiance and weightless perfection."

When applied the foundation feels very light weight, moisturizing, as well as it being a natural coverage. The foundation itself is quite runny with the texture being kind of gel-like. However, what I didn't like about this foundation is that it is not well suited for oily skin as you will need to keep blotting your face down which I don't really mind. I typically have a combination type skin dry in the winter and oily in the summer. This foundation has a slight scent to it but nothing too over powering.

Thanks for reading, see you in my next post!

Memebox 5 Review! - Korean Beauty Box

Hello! I'm back with another post for you! So I have stumbled across a Korean Beauty Box called "Memebox" and this is my first beauty box ever! What Memebox is, is that it is not a beauty subscription box that you would have to opt out at the beginning of the month. You are able to choose when and which boxes you would like to buy whenever (if it's available). Each box contains a minimum of 4-8 products. I was not sent this for review purposes but actually paid for it on my own. Each box cost $23 plus $6.99 for shipping. However, once you sign up you would automatically get 5 points which equals to $5 that you could use towards any purchase on their site.

I am quite impressed with Memebox! Through the month of February I have noticed many changes to their site such as adding a number queue for people when they are sending them messages as it would help them organize their emails that they are receiving accordingly. They have also started with a "Superbox" in which it contains full sized products that are from Korea. There are different editions such as the makeup edition (Superbox 2) and their newest edition hydration (Superbox 3). The prices for the superboxes ranges and contains a minimum of 4 products. I have pre-ordered Superbox 2 as well as Memebox 7 so I'll let you know when I receive them!

Let's get into what's in Memebox 5th Edition! Everything comes in this cute pink box which was wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in a hot pink bag that says "Memebox" on it. I was kind of surprised as the box looked a lot bigger in pictures but is actually quite small in person.

Anyways, when you open the box, all the products are nicely placed inside and the top of the box will say "Get it Beauty by Memebox" as well as their website. It also comes with a card indicating what product is what, as well as the price of the full sized items.

I forgot to mention above that some of their boxes offer points back but some don't as well as some you are able to upgrade to express shipping and some not. For this box as well as the Memebox 8 I was able to upgrade to free express shipping.

Anyways, if you would like me to do a review on any of the products above let me know! See you in my next post.

[Haul] Mini Sephora Haul + Review

Hello!

I've recently stopped by a Sephora this past weekend just to browse around but I remembered that they were offering 3x the points on fragrances so I decided to pick one up as well as the Sephora Airbrush Foundation. I picked up the Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume in Eau So Fresh as the packaging was so cute! I love how the scent is very light and not too strong.

With the Airbrush Foundation I picked up the medium shade. Prior to this I had picked up the light and was testing it out. However when I sprayed it onto my hands it was stinging so I wiped it off to find a red mark on my hand. Not sure if I sprayed it too close or not so I decided to not put it on my face. I have been testing out the medium shade; again spraying it onto my hand first it didn't sting like the other shade did. I find that the medium shade was a bit too dark for me as I'm normally an NC20-25. Besides this I love the finish of it! It makes your face look very flawless hence it is an "airbrush" foundation.

Also I have decided to use 250 points to redeem for a mini Marc Jacobs Daisy original perfume. Look how cute it looks! I absolutely love the daisy line for the little flowers on the cap! Look out for my next post!

[Review] Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

Happy New Year ! To start off the New Year I decided to do a review on Innisfree's Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask. What better way to start off the year by taking care of your skin! I have read many reviews about this mask and have heard many good things so I decided to give it a try. I purchased this from TesterKorea (I'll be posting a separate review about the site soon) while they were having their end of the year sale.

On the side of the box, the mask claims to "Tighten pores + Removes sebum + Exfoliates dead skin cells + Offers deep cleansing + Enhances skin tone + Provides cooling effects".

I've been trying this out for a couple of weeks now and do agree on what the mask claims to do but I'm not so sure about it enhancing my skin tone. Maybe I should try it out a little longer to see if I could see a difference.

As for the directions on how to use the mask according to Innisfree "After cleansing, apply skin toner to refine skin texture and gently smooth over entire face, avoiding the eye and lip area. After 10 minutes, gently roll using fingertips to rinse off with lukewarm water".

Besides the ingredients and the directions of use that are on the box the rest is in Korean. From what was on the box in English, there was no recommendations as to how many times this should be used a week. However, I generally use this twice a week leaving it on for only 10-15 minutes. Don't leave it on any longer than the recommended time as your skin may become irritated. When the mask slowly begins to dry it does not feel extremely uncomfortable on your face.

When you open up the lid there is another plastic lid cover to keep the product from drying out as well as keeping it sanitary. The one thing that I did not like about this was that it is not really hygienic as you would need to either use your fingers to get the product out or a small spatula. It would have been nice if a spatula was included.

Besides that don't be fooled by how big the tub looks in pictures! It is rather a lot smaller than you think. I was a bit surprised at how small it was when I received it as I thought it would be bigger but its okay. The product contains 100mL and comes in two sizes which would be the 200mL in a squeeze tube (a lot more hygienic than the tub).

Overall, what I love about this mask is the texture, and how it actually tighten's the pores making it look a lot smaller. When applied I find that with the thick texture of the mask, it is actually really easy to spread across the face. I have tried quite a few clay mask but this by far is my favourite as it is easy to work with. I would purchase this mask again but would probably get the squeeze tube as it is a lot more hygienic.

Have you tried clay masks before? Let me know what your favorites are!

Thanks for reading! :)
